About.

With 15 years experience working across the intersection of creativity, strategy, and human connection, I'm a brand narrative strategist who helps established businesses and organisations find their voice — and use it with confidence.

My background spans documentary filmmaking, videography, and marketing management. That combination has given me something most strategists don't have: the ability to uncover what's genuinely true about a business, shape it into a narrative that holds, and build the systems to deliver it consistently.

After years making documentaries across Aotearoa NZ — from space science agencies to community advocacy campaigns — I learned that the most compelling stories aren't constructed. They're uncovered. That instinct is at the centre of everything I do.

Proven Across Complex Industries

I've built narratives for organisations where the work is genuinely complex and the stakes are real — publicly funded science, local government, primary industry, healthcare, and purpose-driven enterprises. If your world is hard to explain, I've been there.

Strategy and Implementation, Together

Finding your story is only half the work. I bring marketing management experience to make sure it lands — consistently, across every channel, in a way that actually reflects who you are.

My Story

I grew up in Luxembourg, educated in a system that brought together students from across Europe and beyond. The European Baccalaureate wasn't just an academic qualification — it was an early education in human connection, in finding common ground across cultures, languages, and worldviews. That instinct to listen before speaking, to seek out the story beneath the surface, has shaped everything since. It carried me through a decade of documentary filmmaking in Central Otago, where I worked with everyone from climate scientists to farmers to communities trying to hold onto their identity. Over time, I noticed the same problem surfacing in nearly every client conversation: they didn't know what story to tell. It wasn't a production problem. It was a story problem — and no amount of budget or creative execution could fix it at the source.

It was a marketing role at a Wellington non-profit that made that crystal clear. I watched a passionate, talented team struggle under the weight of increasing pressure to do more with less — no core brand story, fractured internal communication, and a website nobody could agree on despite record advertising spend. Results continued to decline. It wasn't a lack of effort or skill. It was a missing foundation. I left that role with a clear conviction: when an organisation knows its story, everything else flows — the clarity to move forward, the capability to communicate it, and the confidence to carry it. Verrative exists to give organisations that foundation, and the tools to build on it themselves.
